Nothing spells winter like hot apple cider! Unfortunately, most recipes are sugar-laden. Just a little can totally derail your healthy-eating efforts. Fortunately, my Sugar Free Hot Apple Cider Recipe is a delicious low carb alternative that tastes like the real thing.
Sugar Free Hot Apple Cider Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Tbsp *raw* apple cider vinegar
- 8oz hot filtered water
- dash of organic stevia (sweetener) to taste (this is the best-tasting one I use that doesn’t have any fillers: SweefLeaf Organic Stevia Leaf Extract)
OPTIONS
- mulling spices
- light dusting of cayenne pepper
- cinnamon stick
Boil water with mulling spices and/or cinnamon stick.
Pour spiced hot water over vinegar directly into your favorite mug.
Add stevia to taste (and, optionally a dusting of cayenne pepper).
Garnish with cinnamon stick if desired.
Cozy up, enjoy, and rest easy knowing your healthy-eating efforts are still on track. Victory!
